Warehouse Forklift Operator

Location and Shift

Warehouse location:
Harrisonburg, VA

Day Shift: 5:00 am – 5:00 pm, 12 hours per shift. Rotating shift, work every other weekend.

Night Shift (Monday to Friday): 5:00 pm – 2:00 am, 8 hours per shift. Rotating shift, work every other weekend.

• Promote a safe work environment through personal actions.
• Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient manner.
• Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed.
• Direct product to the correct area in the warehouse.
• Clear work area of loose wood and plastic, sweep area as needed.
• Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prefer 1 year of forklift experience (stand-up or sit-down) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with RFID.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license.

• Strong teamwork skills.
• Self-motivation.
• Must be able to work overtime, days and/or evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to read numbers and labels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.
• Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs. frequently.
