Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Position: Senior Warehouse Teammate

• Act as a lead on the warehouse team, assign tasks and provide guidance to other teammates on procedures.
• Participate in training less experienced or new teammates, demonstrating how to meet and exceed warehouse standards.
• Handle escalated or complex issues and tasks that arise.
• Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
• Stock, maintain, pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction through a high attention to detail.
• Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee.
• Identify non‑stock, special‑order or damaged material and store in proper locations.
• Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third‑party carrier.
• Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Inform supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/non‑saleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
• Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect assets.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety; remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris; inform supervisor of safety issues.
• Assist co‑workers in servicing customers.

Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.

Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by supervisor and management.

• 2+ years of warehouse receiving and material handling experience
• Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center

• Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co‑workers.
• Apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
• Learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
• Learn and operate the computer‑related systems used for warehouse operations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Perform basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
