Job Title
Possess a thorough understanding of and an ability to relate to youth. Work cooperatively with the special education teacher to whom assigned. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects. Perform certain physical duties for students such as lifting, tending to personal needs, etc. Perform duties in a manner consistent with the directions of the teacher to whom assigned. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students.
Supervise students when the teacher is out of the classroom under the recommendation of the classroom teacher and approval by the building administrator. High school diploma or equivalent 60 college credit hours or pass Paraprofessional Examination
