Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Behavioral Health Geriatric role in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities Include- Providing age-specific psychiatric nursing care for adult patients, including those with mental health and organic illnesses like dementia.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized treatment in a supportive, family-centered environment.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment while teaching patients, families, and caregivers coping strategies for behavioral changes.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and active RN licensure within 90 days or current license.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- BLS certification upon hire.
- Previous clinical experience preferred; inpatient psychiatric experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
