From that point they will identify the correct drawing to match the tasks which is why it is important this individual be able to read construction drawings. Throughout the day they will need to monitor the crew and ensure compliance is adhering to OSHA standards. At the end of their shift they will document all of their observations in a proprietary SharePoint system called Vipper.
Lastly, this employee will have a rotating day and night shift which they will be able to coordinate based on their schedule. The client is looking for a good team member and someone who is very passionate about their work! It would also be very helpful if this candidate has experience working in the utilities industry or a power generation facility

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience working industrial projects (non-commercial or residential)
• Mechanical piping background/knowledge
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Understanding of construction methodology
o Understands rebar thickness in construction - sequencing of events to ensure construction is proper
• Strong project/communication coordination skills
o Able to act as the liaison between construction crews
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working for a Utilities company in power generation
• Foreman or Superintendent experience
• CWI - Certified Welding Inspector
• QAQC - Quality assurance, quality control experience
• Spanish speaking skills - able to communicate with teams
• OSHA certified
