Field Coordinator

We're looking for a Construction Quality & Oversight Specialist with a major electric utility in Kentucky. This is a contract role supporting active capital projects across generation and T&D facilities.

• Monitor contractor performance across active job sites for safety compliance, quality, schedule adherence, and productivity
• Identify field issues and drive corrective actions, escalating to engineering and management as needed
• Review and comment on design documents and ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications
• Coordinate work between multiple contractors and company operations, including LOTO, hot work, and confined space compliance
• Document daily site activities through written reports and field photography
• Serve as the primary interface between contractors, project engineering, and internal departments

• 5+ years of supervisory or project experience in civil, mechanical, electrical, welding, or QA/QC disciplines
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and site safety standards
• Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
• Proficiency in quality standards related to materials, equipment erection, and installation methods
