The Receptionist and Building Coordinator for the Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine at Orange Park (OPCVM) is responsible for directing phone calls, greeting and routing visitors/vendors, communicating/coordinating building user needs, and coordinating reservations for events in the building.
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
Preferred QualificationsOffice setting experience
Job Duties- Answer calls on the main switchboard for LMU OPCVM building, supply general information to callers, screen and route calls to the appropriate destination
- Greet visitors, vendors, staff, and others in a professional and courteous manner
- Direct visitors, vendors, and others to appropriate departments and/or personnel
- Take and distribute phone messages as appropriate
- Collect and prepare outgoing mail
- Assist with mailings, distributions, and special projects
- Assist other administrative staff with overflow work and phone coverage
- Schedule appointments as necessary
- Operate office machines, including calculator, copy machine, and computer
- Assist in access control of the building during business- and after-hours
- Make signs as needed for meetings
- Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
- Perform other duties as assigned
