Job Description:
LMU is seeking AHA or ASHI instructors to align with the LMU – DCOM American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center for the delivery of AHA and/or ASHI courses. The instructor will be responsible for teaching Basic Life Support, Heartsaver Courses, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support Courses, and/or courses for the American Health and Safety Institute Heartsaver and/or Basic Life Support.
This is an adjunct employee position and does not qualify for benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver AHA and/or ASHI courses, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS), and American Safety Health Institute (ASHI) Heartsaver courses.
Required Qualifications:
- AHA Basic Life Support Instructor certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) instructor certification
- American Safety Health Institute Heartsaver instructor certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
