New Directions Education is currently recruiting dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive schools in Harrogate
.
As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in primary school settings. Working across a variety of schools, you will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
, helping to create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking flexible working arrangements while gaining experience in different school settings.
- Support pupils with a range of SEND, including:
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) - ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Moderate learning difficulties
- Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities
- Implement EHCP targets and individual support strategies
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Provide consistent emotional and academic support
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs
