Adjunct Instructor, Internal Medicine DCOM Orange Park

Job Description The Adjunct Instructor may be assigned to prepare and deliver lecture(s) and/or facilitate lab(s) and/or support clinical education.

Required Qualifications
  • Licensed D.O., M.D., PhD, or other doctoral degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certification in specialty area for physicians
Job Duties
  • Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and the community at large.
  • Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students.
  • Promote by precept and example a general atmosphere within LMU-DCOM of respect for knowledge, thought and inquiry.
  • Deliver lectures utilizing the latest body of knowledge and evidence.
  • Prepare examination questions as requested.
  • Meet with course directors as needed and deliver lecture(s) according to published schedule.
  • Commit to working in a professional multicultural environment that fosters diversity.
  • Serve as an example to learners and colleagues of appropriate professional behavior.
  • Demonstrate and supervise students during clinical educational activities utilizing standardized patients and/or volunteer patients.
  • Supervise students during authorized and approved patient care events, including health fairs, sports physicals, or community outreach programs.
