ResponsibilitiesThe Part-time Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine for the Orange Parklocation will be directly responsible for teaching LMU-DCOM approved curriculum, clinical duties, and scholarly activity. They shall be held accountable for these obligations as they contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department. Lead and facilitate skills labs for residents and students at our GME partner institutions, ensuring hands‑on, competency‑based learning experiences as needed.
Design and deliver structured procedural training sessions to enhance residents and students clinical competencies as needed.
D.O./M.D. degree and Board Certification in Internal Medicine; and
* able to be licensed in Florida within the first-year of hire date by the Florida Board of Osteopathic Examination/Florida Medical State Board; unrestricted Tennessee license and approved medical professional liability insurance must be maintained throughout employment (individual coverage for patient care for University approved activities will be paid or reimbursed by LMU-DCOM).
* minimum of 5 years experience in clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership. Academic rank will be commensurate with training and experience.
