The Department of Biology & Chemistry at Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Biology specializing in Anatomy and Physiology.

The successful candidate will teach courses that may include General Physiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and other courses supporting the department’s curriculum. The faculty member will contribute to LMU’s mission through teaching, scholarship, and service.

To support a successful transition into the LMU academic community, the selected candidate will participate in the University’s New Faculty Academy. During the first year, the faculty member will receive:

• Moderated scholarship and service expectations
• Guidance from a departmental faculty mentor
• Support designed to promote long-term teaching and scholarly success

• Earned PhD in Physiology, Anatomy, or a closely related discipline
• Educational preparation consistent with University and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools requirements
• Evidence of potential for effective teaching and scholarly activity

• College-level teaching experience
