Are you a reliable and hands on individual looking to join an established independent business in Harrogate manufacturing materials? This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, supportive team where you'll play a key role in day to day production and machine operations.
Our client is looking for someone who is motivated, flexible and eager to learn with a strong focus on operating machinery and supporting workshop production.
Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Operative:- Operate and assist with the setup of production machinery.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure products meet quality standards.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Support production processes within the workshop environment.
- Receive goods and materials and check deliveries for accuracy.
- Prepare materials and finished products for dispatch.
- Maintain organised stock and workshop areas.
- Work closely with colleagues as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Assist with general operational duties as required.
- Previous experience operating machinery or within a manufacturing/production environment.
- Warehouse or goods handling experience beneficial.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
