The successful candidate will support ongoing research projects by performing a variety of cellular and molecular biology techniques and maintaining essential laboratory functions. This is a part‑time position ideal for someone with a strong scientific background and hands‑on lab experience.
Required Qualifications- Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
- Proficiency and independence in molecular biology and cell‑based techniques
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask
- Competency in data processing and scientific presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience in a research lab setting is highly preferred
- Perform cell culture, Western blotting, real‑time PCR, immunostaining, and tissue processing
- Assist in general lab operations and maintenance, including inventory and ordering supplies
- Maintain a well‑organized and accurate laboratory notebook
- Analyze and present data using Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Collaborate with faculty and student researchers to support experimental workflows
