Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician C £40,000 plus van & overtime Harrow MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a Field Service Technician to join their expanding UK service team. This is a field-based role covering sites across the NW London region, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
· Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites
· Perform mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas engines
· Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and diagnostics
· Maintain service records and complete detailed job reports
· Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working on-site
· Participating in a call out rota
· Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have:
· Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators or heavy engineering equipment
· Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred)
· Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills (training can be provided)
· Flexible approach to travel and working on customer sites
