Multi Trade Operative - Property Services

Permanent: £42,000 per annum
A Multi Trade Operative is required to work on a busy social housing repairs and maintenance contract in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced multi-skilled tradesperson looking for a temporary-to-permanent position.
Daily responsibilities- Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing properties
- Completing a range of multi-trade works, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and making good
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Managing jobs independently from start to finish
- Providing excellent customer service while working in residents' homes
- Accurately recording works completed
- Identifying and reporting any additional works or property issues
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently
- Participating in an out-of-hours emergency repair rota where required
- Proven experience carrying out domestic repairs and maintenance across multiple trades
- Strong skills in at least two or more trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling or decorating
- Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience is highly desirable
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload effectively
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working within occupied properties
- Own hand tools
- Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
