Bookkeeper (Part-Time 20 hours/Temp to Perm Assignment)
West Hartford, CT
Our nonprofit client is seeking a part‑time Bookkeeper with Quick Books Online experience to manage financial operations. This is a part‑time salaried role, working collaboratively with staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, benefits, and bank accounts
- Maintain secure financial and personnel records
- Prepare financial reports and assist with annual budgeting
- Coordinate with external accountants for reviews/audits
- Share general office and administrative duties
- Support transparent and sustainable financial practices
- Handling restricted vs non restricted funds.
- Experience in bookkeeping and financial management
- Nonprofit and/or faith‑based experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with accounting and budgeting processes
- Must have Quick Books Online
, Excel, and Microsoft Office experience - Service‑oriented, collaborative, and adaptable
- Preferably 4–5 weekdays, hours can be slightly flexible
