Senior Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their close-knit, high-performing accounting team. • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial reports and support the preparation of financial statements
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting projects as needed
• Support process improvements and help strengthen accounting procedures and controls
• Work closely with the Controller, Assistant Controller, and other members of the accounting team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Several years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• CPA or progress toward a CPA is a plus, but not required
