The State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking to hire an Accounting Careers Trainee with a target class of Accountant within the Business Office, Project Accounting Unit in Hartford.
RESPONSIBILITIES:This position works directly in project accounting overseeing all budgets for bond funded projects s position will work closely between the project accounting unit and the project managers in DAS Real Estate and Construction Services (RECS). This position will also work closely with purchasing and payables to ensure proper purchase orders and payments are made in the State Accounting system, Core-CT.
POSITIONHIGHLIGHTS
- Monday – Friday
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- First shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Location:
Hartford, CT - Hybrid position (telework and in office)
