Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000

We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to lead a high‑volume legal billing function within a multi‑office professional services organization. This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for both day‑to‑day billing execution and managing a team of billing professionals.
The ideal candidate brings deep law firm billing expertise, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys balancing people leadership with process improvement and execution.
What You’ll Do- Lead, execute, and oversee high‑volume legal billing
- Manage and mentor a team of billing professionals across multiple locations
- Ensure billing accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with attorney and client requirements
- Apply and maintain billing policies, guidelines, and strict billing deadlines
- Balance hands‑on billing responsibilities with departmental oversight
- Identify and implement opportunities for workflow and process improvements
- Partner closely with leadership and related teams
Required
- Law firm billing experience
- Hands‑on, high‑volume billing background
- Proven experience managing and developing billing teams
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, high‑expectation environment
Preferred
- Experience with Adirant Expert
- Track record of improving billing processes or operations
