Legal Administrative Assistant – Hartford Office
Carlton Fields is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for its Hartford office. This is an opportunity to become an integral member of a team of attorneys and staff in handling a wide array of administrative tasks in the commercial real estate practice area.
Qualifications- Must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, initiative, flexibility, organizational skills, client service skills and the ability to be proactive.
- Must possess mastery of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and document management systems is preferred.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential.
- Assisting attorneys in preparing, proofreading and revising documents
- Maintaining files and records electronically and via traditional means
- Preparing closing binders in accordance with client requirements
- Submitting Business Intake and Conflicts requests
- Time entry, client billing and submission of expense statements
- Backup coverage, as necessary
The salary range for this role in Connecticut is $70,000 - $75,000. Actual salaries will vary depending upon relevant experience and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees. Other monetary rewards include annual discretionary bonuses based on performance and profit‑sharing contributions based on eligibility and firm profitability.
