Job Overview

Transdev is hiring a Data Entry Clerk in East Hartford, CT. The role involves data entry of information to maintain the company database using Transdev’s software. Candidates should be customer‑service oriented with a strong focus on safety.

• Data entry of times and odometer readings.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks according to contractual and legal mandates.
• Input and extract data from manifests to provide data to management and the client.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience.
• Ability to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, type, and look at a computer screen.
• Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings.

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions – 100% of the job is performed outside.
• Sit for 6–8 hours per day; walk long distances; work on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 15 pounds; lift up to 50 pounds; bend, kneel, or crouch as needed.
• Work in areas with substantial dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.

• Competitive compensation package: minimum and maximum $17.25 per hour ($35,880 annually).
• Vacation: minimum of one week after one full continuous year of employment.
• Sick days: 5 days.
• Holidays: 12 days (8 standard and 4 floating).
