Lia Hyundai Hartford is seeking an A/A+ level Automotive Technician to join our team. Sign on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

Compensation Range: $60,000 – $120,000 plus

• 3+ years of service technician experience
• Diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience
• State inspection certification required
• ASE certification recommended
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• Computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Clean and valid driver’s license

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership processes
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute warranty repairs under manufacturer specifications
