Lia Hyundai Hartford – Level B & C Automotive Technician

We are seeking an experienced technician for a fast‑paced, professional environment that rewards hard‑working, reliable, and team‑oriented individuals. Lia service departments are equipped with the latest technologies including a service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign‑on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

Range: $45,000 – $60,000 per year.

• 3+ years of service technician experience.
• Any Hyundai training or certification preferred.
• Diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience required.
• State inspection certification required.
• ASE certification recommended.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership processes.
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time required for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
