Join CVS Health as a Senior Contracts Manager and lead the negotiation, development, and execution of complex IT and Non‑IT agreements that power our enterprise. In this high‑impact role, you'll guide a team of contracting professionals, partner with senior executives, and influence strategic initiatives across the organization.
What You'll Do- Lead drafting, negotiation, and finalization of complex vendor contracts while managing risk and maximizing enterprise value.
- Serve as the escalation point for contract issues, advising senior leaders on legal, commercial, and compliance risks.
- Partner across Legal, Sourcing, Security, Privacy, Tax, Finance, and other SMEs to ensure alignment with policies and regulations.
- Support enterprise initiatives including supplier integration, M&A activities, and enterprise‑wide cost‑saving projects.
- Manage and mentor a high‑performing team across multiple locations.
- Maintain and enhance contract templates, processes, and purchasing policies.
- Provide guidance on contractual rights/obligations and support supplier performance, compliance, and improvement efforts.
- Represent Procurement in business reviews, stakeholder meetings, and educational sessions to reinforce contracting best practices.
- 7+ years professional experience
- 5+ years contracts experience, including drafting and negotiating complex agreements
- 3+ years advising senior leaders on contract risks and strategy
- Proven ability to manage high‑volume, high‑complexity negotiations
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule at a CVS HUB:
Tuesday, Wednesday and two Thursdays a month.
- Experience with Ariba (or similar contract management systems)
- Experience in healthcare or retail procurement
- JD, MBA, or relevant advanced degree
- Professional certifications (C.P.M., C.P.P.O., C.F.C.M., C.P.C.M.)
- Experience leading and developing teams
Hybrid schedule:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and two Thursdays per month onsite at a CVS hub location.
Bachelor's degree required or similar expereince required.

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
