The FHWA Connecticut Division seeks an entry-level Civil Engineer (0–5 years) for its Professional Development Program (PDP) in Hartford, offering hands-on training across design, construction, bridges, traffic, hydraulics, and geotechnical work.
Starting at GS-07/09 with potential for non-competitive promotion to GS-12, you’ll have a dedicated coach from day one and may be placed nationwide after PDP completion. Relocation assistance may be available. Applications close August 12, 2026.
