Senior Project Manager, Project Delivery
The Senior Project Manager, Project Delivery (SPM) will oversee all aspects of the implementation of the Contract for a Delivery Project, or a portion of a IS Delivery Project. They are responsible for managing the financial aspects of the Project, Subcontractors / Vendors, Client relationships and delivering a safe, quality outcome the meets or exceeds Company commitments.
Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure work environment through active participation in site planning, Safety Plan review, JHA approvals, on-site tool box talks and conducting site walks with the Lead Construction Manager. They are the key resource for the Project Executive and Vice President for all project scope to ensure code and project requirements are met. They manage the Project Budget and understand and can execute the management of the Contract delivery type - Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), Lump Sum, or Concession Agreement.
They manage and understand the requirements of the Contract, including bonds, insurance, notifications, schedules, reporting, costs and energy savings requirements. They oversee the set-up of the Project Job Management System (Procore) for all Change Management and Document Control procedures following Company SOPs. They negotiate and prepare vendor purchase orders and subcontracts in a timely manner to support the project schedule milestones.
They lead in the Hand-off meeting from Development that establishes project goals, parameters and client expectations. They oversee the Project Team in establishment of the site utilization plan with a focus on cleanliness, access control and overall safety of our employees, client personal and public. They oversee the establishment of the Baseline Schedule for the project with a focus on all Energy Savings requirements and milestones.
They ensure accurate, timely and pertinent monthly project reports and cost reviews with project leadership utilizing current information from the Job Management and Accounting Platforms. They ensure the implementation of the Project Specific Quality Assurance Plan, including proper documentation to the client and all Subcontractors / Vendors. They ensure the Change Management process on the project from RFI Affect Letters, Drawing Revisions, and Client Directives from issuance to resolution is maintained and executed with accuracy and timeliness.
They ensure Agendas and Meeting Minutes from all regular project meetings with the team, Vendors and Subcontractors, and Client are created and distributed. They communicate and manage mitigations plans for all Risk Log items with project leadership. They work seamlessly with the leadership of all divisions. They build and maintain strong customer relations with subcontractors, vendors and Client, ensuring a predictable outcome in alignment with the Client and the Companies energy goals.
They participate in industry organizations and looks for opportunities to be involved with the community to promote the company and its goals. They manage and develop all Project Managers.
Qualifications include a 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience, 8+ years of experience, effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills, leadership skills, the willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships, the ability to influence outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations, the ability to multitask and willingness to perform additional duties as necessary.
Travel Requirements include 40-60% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
Physical Activities include climbing stairs, remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Environmental Conditions include quiet environment.
Physical Demands include light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Pay Range is USD $ - USD $ /Yr.
