Bertera Subaru Hartford is seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional service, a strong understanding of automotive repair, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and technicians. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, guiding them through their service experience and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a welcoming experience.
• Obtain and document customer information, including vehicle make, model, year, and service history.
• Listen to customer concerns and advise them on appropriate vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Create detailed service estimates and explain the services offered, including costs and time frames.
• Schedule service appointments and manage a busy service drive.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of services.
• Provide customers with regular updates on their vehicle's status, answering any questions they may have.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction and build trust.
• Maintain an organized service area and keep accurate records of services performed.
• Upsell service contracts, parts, and accessories to enhance customer experience and dealership profitability.
• Stay updated on new products, services, and trends in the automotive industry.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in automotive technology or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
