Flagger - Special Events

Job Details

• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
• Job Type: On-Call
• Location: Hartford, CT

• Direct patrons to parking locations.
• Complete daily shift paperwork, recording number of transactions by parking rate, vehicles in and out, contract parkers, vehicles remaining, validated tickets, and exception tickets.
• Maintain the ticketing booth clean and orderly at all times.
• Provide company service standards to every customer, including maintaining required uniform, greeting, answering questions, resolving issues, and thanking customers upon exit.
• May be asked to perform small cleaning or maintenance tasks per management checklists.
• Other special projects as assigned by location management.

• Flexibility to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods in all weather conditions.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional and friendly demeanor when working with employees and customers.
• Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.

• 1+ year of valet parking experience.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Free parking while working at assigned Propark location(s).
