- Strong conceptual thinker
- Intimate knowledge of Adobe CS
- 3-5 years of visual design experience
- A solid understanding of designing for functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation
- Communications skills — clearly and effectively present your designs as well as the process
- Leadership skills — ability to work with managers, and other designers
- A great attitude — ability to work in a professional manner and with others
- Must be an ego-free, thick-skinned person who can take and give clear feedback
- Agency experience a plus, but not necessary
