We are seeking a Board Certified Hematology-Oncology Physician for a 6 12 month locum assignment with extension potential. This role includes a mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic coverage, supporting an established and collaborative oncology team in a Level I Trauma Center environment.

• 80% Hematology and 20% Oncology patient mix

• Inpatient consults and outpatient clinic responsibilities

• Established team of 10 Physicians and 8 APPs

• Average patient volume: 10 patients per day inpatient and 15 patients per day outpatient

• Adult and geriatric patient population

• Level I Trauma Center facility

• EMR:
Epic

• Collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team

• Board Certified in Hematology-Oncology REQUIRED

• Active Connecticut medical license REQUIRED (must be in hand at submission)

• Clean malpractice and background history REQUIRED

• NPDB Self-Query report required at time of submission (must be current within the same month)

• Local candidates highly preferred (no flights provided)

Schedule:

3 clinic days per week (Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

• Assignment length: 6 months to 1 year with possibility of extension

• Call schedule:
Nights 1:10 rotation and weekends approximately 2 3 per year

• Call includes weekend call, night call, and callback coverage

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 130 days
