Hematology​/Oncology Physician

Inpatient & Outpatient 6 12 Month Assignment Level I Trauma Center

365 Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum assignment in Hartford, Connecticut. This opportunity offers a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice model within a Level I Trauma Center and a well-established multidisciplinary team.

Assignment length is anticipated to be 6 months to 1 year, with potential extension.

• 3 4 clinic days per week (Monday Friday)

• 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

• Infrequent weekend and night call

• Weekend call: 2 3 per year

• Night call rotation: 1:10

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 130 days

• Inpatient consults + Outpatient clinic

• Adult & Geriatric population

• Case mix: 80% Hematology / 20% Oncology

• No Internal Medicine coverage required

• Level I Trauma Center

Team Structure:

• 10 Physicians

• 8 Advanced Practice Providers

• Collaborative, established oncology program

Volume Expectations:

• 10 patients per day (hospital)

• 15 patients per day (clinic)

• Comprehensive hematology and oncology evaluations

• Inpatient consult management

• Outpatient follow-up care

• Multidisciplinary collaboration

• Ongoing treatment planning and therapy management

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology

• Active Connecticut license (in hand at time of presentation)

• NPDB Self-Query (current month)

• Clean malpractice and background history

• Local candidates preferred
