Job Description:
EWPS seeks a highly qualified long-term substitute special education teacher for SY 25-26 to service student with IEPs in grades Kindergarten and grade 4.
Caseload of approximately 10-12 students. Responsibilities include case management, supervision of paraprofessionals, writing IEPs, testing/report writing, participation in PPT meetings. The ideal candidate will have realistic and challenging expectations for students, be collaborative with colleagues and administration, be a reflective educator, objectively measure student progress, and effectively manage student behavior.
Qualifications:
BA Degree
CT (or reciprocal state) State Dept of Special Education teaching certification (preferred)
Per Diem Rate: $298/day
