Summary
The Kitchen Aide provides a variety of food preparation, service, maintenance and sanitation services, as well as assists cook daily. This position provides welcoming customer service to all children, parents, guests and fellow employees.
Duties- Wrap food to protect and deliver lunch carts.
- Clear and clean breakfast and lunch carts.
- Provides dishwashing services from breakfast and lunch.
- Clean and restock shelves with clean dishes, platters, bowls, etc.
- Clean dishwasher, counters, rinse sinks and sweep floors.
- Prepare set up for next day's meals.
- Is aware of all special food substitutions for classrooms.
- Assists cook with food allergies and milk alternates.
- Assists with food storage and pantry.
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous food service experience
- Demonstrated attention to detail is required
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to relate well with people of diverse groups
- Ability to perform job with integrity and values consistent with the WLCDC mission

Requirements: 18 years old, high school diploma/GED or some ECE credits. Experience working with children, kind, reliable and punctual willing to work in a team.
