Position Summary

The purpose of this posting is to create a pool of talented teachers for the 2026‑27 school year. Duties / Responsibilities
  • Develop and administer curriculum consistent with district goals and objectives.
  • Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small‑group instruction.
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that support language acquisition, translating plans into learning experiences to develop pertinent sequential assignments, challenge students, and use instructional time effectively.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modify instructional methods to fit individual needs, including students with special needs; conduct individual and small‑group instruction as needed.
  • Screen Home Language Surveys.
  • Identify and assess students for eligibility for TESOL/Bilingual services.
  • Utilize native‑language support to make the curriculum accessible to multilingual learners.
  • Act as liaison between students, teachers, staff, and families.
  • Administer federal standardized assessment (LAS Links).
  • Guide and provide professional development to teachers on strategies to support multilingual learners.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
