PositionSummary
The World Language teacher works under the general supervision of their school principal and performs essential duties listed below.
Duties/Responsibilities- Develop and administer curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
- Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, and student learning.
- Develop grade-level appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials; translate plans into learning experiences to develop sequential activities, challenge students, maintain target language in class, and optimize instructional time.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress; modify instructional methods to fit individual student needs; conduct individual and small group instruction as needed.
- Comply with all school policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Certification: (023, 101)
- Familiar with ACTFL World-Readiness Standards

- Travel:
Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide transportation to meetings/trainings as required. - Physical Demands & Work Environment:
