CREC seeks talented World Language teachers for a teaching position at our various magnet schools. This posting is to create a pool of talented employees for the 2026-27 School Year. The World Language teacher works under the general supervision of their school principal and performs essential duties listed below.

• Develop and administer curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
• Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small-group instruction, and student learning.
• Develop grade-level appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials; translate plans into learning experiences to develop sequential activities, challenge students, maintain target language in class, and optimize instructional time.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress; modify instructional methods to fit individual student needs; conduct individual and small group instruction as needed.
• Comply with all school policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Certification: (023, 101)
• Familiar with ACTFL World-Readiness Standards
