This vacancy is for the remainder of school year . Jumoke Academy seeks a dynamic, courageous and innovative art teacher serving grades Pre-K - 8, who is committed to excellence for every child and will accept nothing less. This individual must be highly motivated and mission-driven; teacher who sweats the small stuff without losing sight of the big picture. The ideal teacher candidate will have a proven track record of:

Qualifications:

Certification/License:
Appropriate CT State Certification

Education:

An accredited Bachelor's or Masters Degree

Experience:

Preferably at least one year of teaching experience at the intermediate elementary and middle school level. Fresh graduates with a degree in ART are welcome to apply.

Terms of Employment and

Work Schedule:

Ten month work year. Standard teacher work schedule, including attendance at professional development, open houses, parent conferences and staff meetings as needed.
