Math and Science Teacher; Grades 5-6

Middle School Math and Science Teacher

Jumoke Academy seeks a motivated and innovative middle school certified Math and Science teacher, to teach 5th and 6th grades, who are committed to excellence for every child and will accept nothing less. These individuals must be highly motivated and mission-driven; teachers who sweat the small stuff without losing sight of the big picture. The ideal teacher candidate will have a proven track record of:

Qualifications:

• Certification/License:
  Appropriate CT State Certification in Math & Science
• Education:
  
  An accredited Bachelor's or Masters Degree
• Experience:
  
  At least three years of teaching experience at the intermediate elementary and middle school level

Terms of employment and work schedule:
Ten month work year. Standard teacher work schedule, including attendance at professional development, open houses, parent conferences and staff meetings as needed. This is a full time position with benefits.
