Summer Student Worker
The following job duties and responsibilities are essential functions of the summer school K-7 or Extended School Year student worker, in addition to any duties as may be assigned by the building lead or program director for the duration of the program:
- Assist the building leader with operational tasks such as delivering curriculum materials and organizing classroom materials
- Assist with arrival and dismissal, as directed by the building leader and curriculum leader
- Support classroom activities, under specific direction and supervision of the teacher and assistant teacher
- Communicate respectfully and clearly to building leaders, staff, students, and all adults at designated summer sites
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Assist with basic clerical tasks, such as directing telephone calls and organizing copies to be delivered to classrooms
- Knowledge of technology to assist in the classroom
Rate of pay: $16.94 per hour
