Life Skills Coach/Career Advisor, Youth Development, Sports / Activity Coach
Overview
You understand that the most supportive thing you can do for a student is to maintain rigorous standards. You have excelled, competed, or succeeded at levels most people encounter only through articles: elite-level sports, graduation with honors from a highly selective university, employment at a top-tier firm, or a business you launched independently. This role is for someone prepared to elevate K-12 students to benchmarks they believed were out of reach.
Alpha leverages AI-driven 1-on-1 instruction to enable students to complete core academics in roughly two hours daily, freeing the remainder of the day for developing life skills, pursuing personal interests, and genuine development. At Alpha’s most demanding campuses, students need a credible mentor whose personal accomplishments model excellence: someone who can read group dynamics, establish expectations, and guide students through obstacles, distraction, and internal doubt.
Your role is not instructional. AI manages the academic delivery. Your responsibility is to inspire, coach, and apply the same exacting standards you have maintained for yourself. Forty percent of your time is spent in direct 1-on-1 and small-group coaching sessions that identify barriers and define challenging objectives. Forty percent involves facilitating structured life-skills workshops designed for competency. The final twenty percent is dedicated to morning sessions that set a tone where average performance is unacceptable.
The trajectory here emphasizes mastery, not advancement into management. You begin by mastering Alpha’s methodology and establishing trust with students. Within a few months, you become the person they rely on to push beyond perceived limits. The payoff is continuity with the same students, year after year, as you guide their growth.
This position remains centered on students. Students are the purpose, not a means to another opportunity. If you’re motivated to leave your current role for the mission itself, not for résumé enhancement, submit your application now.
