Tired of seeing Springfield's students limited by a system that prevents you from upholding the standards they need? Alpha is opening a new campus in this city, and we're seeking a leader who already knows Springfield's educational landscape. You'll oversee 15+ Guides responsible for coaching and motivating students, while our EdTech platform delivers all instruction. No traditional "teaching". High-impact execution. Pure leadership focus.
Your objective: guarantee that every student enjoys coming to school, progresses at twice the pace of conventional classrooms, and develops essential life competencies. This is not a conventional Principal position. You'll maintain rigorous standards, rely on data to guide decisions, and establish Springfield's top-performing school from the outset.
What You Will Be Doing- Launch the Springfield, MA campus:
Execute Alpha's three core commitments for 100+ students from the first day, maintaining operational excellence throughout. - Facilitate live workshops for K-8 students on life skills:
Conduct engaging one-hour sessions covering public speaking, growth mindset, and feedback exchange. Apply Alpha's structured approach to ensure students develop competencies overlooked by traditional schools while remaining engaged and enthusiastic. - Drive every student toward 100% goal achievement:
Develop personalized motivational strategies for each individual. Apply data-informed methods to address resistance and sustain engagement with the Alpha platform. Your success is measured by every student reaching their objectives. - Develop Guides to meet Alpha's excellence standards:
Leverage data to pinpoint performance shortfalls, provide clear and actionable feedback, and monitor progress. Take decisive action when performance doesn't meet expectations and model the standard for your entire campus. - Execute data-informed leadership across campus operations:
Evaluate performance in staffing, operations, parent engagement, and school culture. Identify challenges, perform root cause analysis, engage relevant stakeholders, and implement trackable improvements. Monitor outcomes and iterate based on evidence.
- Teaching or tutoring students. Students advance through Alpha's self-directed EdTech platform, not through traditional adult-led lectures.
- Creating lesson plans or curriculum. Alpha's operational playbook already exists. Your responsibility is execution and leadership, not instructional content development.
- Overseeing budgets or recruiting personnel. Centralized teams manage finance and talent acquisition. Your focus remains entirely on campus outcomes and culture.
- Serving as a content expert. This position is 80% leadership and engagement, 20% education. You inspire action; the platform delivers instruction.
