Substitute Welding Instructor
Lincoln Tech invites experienced welders to share their expertise on an as-needed basis as substitute instructors. We believe your industry expertise will inspire our students. Let's work together to train interested individuals and bridge the demand-supply gap of the industry. Lincoln has successfully transitioned experienced technicians with little or no teaching background into organized educators. We provide ongoing training and tools, which make it easy for you to carry out our structured curriculum.
Responsibilities for a Welding Substitute Instructor:
- Deliver engaging lectures with the help of Lincoln Tech's standardized curriculum.
- Provide practical training ensuring periodic maintenance of equipment.
- Evaluate and communicate student performance in a timely manner.
Requirements for a Welding Substitute Instructor:
- 3+ years of welding experience in pipe welding/structural welding:
- GMAW - MIG
- GTAW - TIG
- SMAW -- Stick
- FCAW - Flux-cored arc
- Plasma Cutting
- Certified or licensed where required by law
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
