Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in whole-class, small-group, and one-on-one environments.
- Help students, especially those with IEPs, acquire necessary knowledge and skills.
- Plan for each day's instructional activities.
- Participate in weekly professional development opportunities and meetings.
- Conduct assessment and data analysis on results.
- Supervise transitions and whole student gatherings.
- Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or closely related field.
- 3 years experience in an educational setting is preferred.
- CT state certification specialized in Science, Mathematics or Special Education highly preferred.
- Experience working with target population preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledgeable about Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
- High emotional intelligence to develop relationships with diverse individuals.
- Bachelor's degree in Education.
- CT state certification in Science.
- CT state certification in Mathematics.
- CT state certification in Special Education.
