Position: High-Performance Coach, Alpha - $150,000/year USD

You understand that refusing to lower expectations is the most generous thing you can offer a student. Your resume includes accomplishments most people encounter only in books: elite-level athletic competition, distinguished performance at a top university, acceptance into a highly selective firm, or a company you founded and grew. Now imagine channeling that intensity into a classroom filled with K-12 students who have never met anyone like you—someone willing to demand standards they've never been asked to meet.

If you think holding students to elite benchmarks sounds unkind, this isn't for you.

Alpha leverages AI-driven 1-on-1 instruction so that students complete core academics in roughly two hours each day. The time saved goes toward life skills, pursuit of personal interests, and authentic development. At Alpha's most demanding campuses, students require more than oversight. They need a credible mentor whose personal track record defines what excellence looks like: someone who can sense the energy in the room, establish expectations, and guide students through resistance, distraction, and doubt.

You won't be teaching. The AI manages instructional delivery. Your role is to motivate, coach, and maintain the same rigorous standards you've applied to yourself. Forty percent of your time is spent in direct 1-on-1 and small-group coaching sessions that identify obstacles and establish ambitious targets. Another forty percent goes to facilitating structured life-skills workshops designed for mastery rather than engagement.

The final twenty percent involves leading focused morning sessions that cultivate a culture where mediocrity has no place.

Your trajectory here is vertical depth, not lateral management. You begin by mastering Alpha's approach and earning students' trust. Within months, you become the person they rely on to push them beyond their perceived limits. The payoff isn't a title change. It's continuity: the same students, year after year, maturing with your guidance. It's witnessing a student who avoided eye contact in September deliver a composed presentation to a room of adults in May.

This position remains student-centered. Students are the purpose, not a platform for career advancement. If you want to leave your current role because of the mission rather than the credential, apply now.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Conducting 1-on-1 and small-group coaching sessions leveraging Coachbot analytics and student performance data to identify obstacles, establish ambitious targets, and ensure accountability for execution
  • Facilitating structured life-skills workshops designed for mastery, drawing on credible narratives from your own elite background, and verifying mastery through Alpha's Test2

    Pass framework
  • Establishing the cultural standard each morning through focused sessions that reinforce high-performance expectations campus-wide
  • Monitoring student progress continuously and adapting coaching tactics based on data rather than intuition
  • Developing trusted mentor relationships with students and their families by maintaining high standards, consistency, and documented motivation strategies
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Delivering lessons, creating curriculum, or evaluating assignments — Alpha's AI-powered academic system manages instruction; you manage motivation
  • Presenting to a classroom of 30 students (your work is intensive coaching in small settings, not mass instruction)
  • Supervising other personnel or advancing through an administrative hierarchy (this role focuses on direct student outcomes, not organizational structure)
  • Attending faculty meetings or navigating institutional bureaucracy (your schedule remains student-focused)
  • Reducing expectations to meet targets (if a student achieved 99%, your role is to understand what prevented 100%)
