Simsbury Public Schools is seeking caring, dedicated, and student-centered individuals to join our team as full-time Special Education Paraeducators. We have multiple openings at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Position Details
Position:
Special Education Para educator
Schedule:
Full-Time, 185 days per year
Salary: $28.69 - $30.79 per hour (in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement)

Qualifications
Candidates must:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students receiving special education services.
- Be collaborative, flexible, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments.
- Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Have completed at least two years of study (60 college credits) at an accredited institution of higher education;
- Hold an associate degree (or higher);
- Successfully pass a state or locally approved assessment demonstrating knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
