Seasonal Assistant Coach

Job Description

Trinity College in Hartford CT, an NCAA Division III, liberal artsand science college in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), is seeking to fill seasonal coach position forthe Athletics division. Candidate will be expected to help the program continue to grow and build upon the program’ssuccess.

• Coaching and teaching the skills, tactics and strategies while contributing to the overall development of NCAAstudent-athletes.
• Knowledge of and adherence to NESCAC and NCAA rules,recruiting, practice planning and execution, equipment maintenance,teaching responsibilities and mentoring student-athletes.
• The seasonal coach will be expected to help promote and facilitate the College and Athletic Department’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
• The seasonal coach will have administrative duties within the Department.
• This position requires both early morning and weekendavailability throughout the academic year.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics

• High School Diploma, GED
• Familiarity and/or interest with NCAA and NESCAC athleticoperations.
