KeyQualifications:
- Valid special education teaching certification
- Previous experience supporting students in grades 9-12 preferred
- Solid background in developing and implementing IEPs
- Skilled in both reading and math intervention strategies
- Strong communicator with an adaptable, team-based mindset
- Passion for inclusivity and promoting student engagement
- Case manage a caseload of 10-15 students with mild to moderate exceptionalities
- Design and adapt instruction for individual and small group settings
- Lead targeted reading and math intervention sessions to boost academic achievement
- Collaborate directly with general education teachers while co-teaching within grade-level ELA and Math classes
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and update IEP goals accordingly
- Partner with families and other specialists to support holistic student growth
