This full-time role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with one opening for a passionate, dedicated educator.

• Valid Connecticut (CT) Special Education Teacher certification (CT SPED)
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to create and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Flexible and collaborative approach to meeting diverse student needs
• Positive attitude and commitment to fostering student success

• Develop and execute individualized lesson plans to support students with varying abilities
• Provide direct instruction in small-group and inclusive classroom settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Promote a structured, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
