Spanish Bilingual General Education Teacher | Hartford, Connecticut

Step into an engaging opportunity supporting students as a part-time ELL Teacher Multi-Language (Spanish) for the upcoming academic year. This contract role focuses on fostering success for multilingual learners, including Spanish speakers, in a dynamic school environment near Hartford, CT. The position is scheduled for three days per week, beginning August 25, 2026, and concluding June 8, 2027.

• Valid state teaching certificate with TESOL or bilingual education endorsement
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish for effective classroom and community communication
• Experience working with students in general and special education settings, as well as multilingual language learners
• Strong instructional skills in developing and delivering curriculum for diverse groups
• Required education, preparation, and exam credentials completed

• Provide high-quality instruction to students learning English as an additional language, with a focus on Spanish-speaking learners
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet varied language and learning needs
• Collaborate with core content and special education teachers to support inclusive learning environments
• Conduct language acquisition assessments and track student progress
