Overview
If you’re the kind of engineer who lights up when solving tough machine vision challenges
… who thrives on being the “go-to” person everyone trusts… and who wants to see your work directly shape the future of automated equipment — this is where you belong.
This isn’t just another engineering role. It’s your chance to step into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) position inside a company that:
- Designs and builds world-class automation and assembly equipment used across multiple industries.
- Is recognized in the market for delivering innovative, high-quality OEM systems that set the standard for reliability and performance.
- Is led by a leadership team with integrity and vision — a group that’s committed to both growth and to creating a place where engineers thrive.
- Is expanding rapidly and needs experts like you to help guide the next generation of automation solutions.
As the Vision Systems SME, you’ll:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced 2D/3D inspection systems, deep learning tools, and high-speed machine vision applications
. - Select, integrate, and optimize the right cameras, optics, lighting, and hardware to deliver best-in-class performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor internal machine builders and external partners, and set the standard for vision engineering excellence.
- Push the boundaries of inspection accuracy, speed, and reliability in complex automated assembly systems.
- Impact that matters. You won’t be buried in the org chart. You’ll be the linchpin — the recognized SME whose expertise drives real outcomes.
- Room to grow. With a company on a steep growth curve, your career opportunities expand right alongside it.
- Collaboration without politics. Work alongside cross-functional teams that value expertise and execution over bureaucracy.
- A culture of integrity. Leadership here makes decisions with transparency and long-term vision — it’s a place you can believe in.
- A BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or similar).
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in machine vision systems within automation equipment (OEM or integrator experience strongly valued).
- Strong skills in camera/optic selection, lighting, and system integration
. - Practical programming experience (VB, C++, C#).
- Bonus points for AIA Basic Certification and the drive to keep pushing your technical limits.
This is more than a job. It’s a career-defining opportunity to own the vision (literally) for a company that’s reshaping the future of industrial automation.
